Board of Commissioner Meetings
The Tarrant County Emergency Services District No. 1 Board of Commissioners holds regular public meetings to conduct the official business of the District and provide oversight of fire and EMS services across our 183-square-mile service area. These meetings ensure transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of public funds.
During Board meetings, Commissioners review and take action on items such as:
- Annual budgets and tax rates
- Financial reports and audits
- Contracts and interlocal agreements
- Capital projects and station development
- Policy adoption and updates
- Strategic planning initiatives

Meetings are conducted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, and the public is encouraged to attend. Agendas are posted in advance, and approved minutes are made available following each meeting.
Public participation is welcomed in accordance with posted guidelines. Citizens who wish to address the Board may do so during designated public comment periods.
